            A volcano erupts after every turn that has a volcano icon beneath it.

The color of the volcano on the turn marker indicates which volcano will erupt. When this happens, mark or fill in black the affected hex and all adjacent hexes that don’t contain buildings. These hexes cannot be built on or used for scoring.
